Bumps & Babes
This group is for pregnant ladies and new mums with babies
who are not yet crawling. We get together once a week at someone’s
house. It’s a lovely opportunity to get to know other mums
and mums-to-be, to have a chat and exchange our experiences
– and for the little ones to get used to being around other
babies, and have fun too.

Toddles & Waddles
The Toddles and Waddles group is for children from walking
to age 2. The children play together every Monday from 10-12
am at ZSC, while mum's have a cup of tea and chat. This playgroup is very popular,
therefore bookings are essential.

 Toddlers
Toddlers group is for children 2 to 3 years old, but their
younger and older siblings are welcome to most events! Past
outings have included trips to Equestrian Club, the International
Music Institute, various softplay areas, various beach clubs
and story-telling in the House-of-Tales Bookshop.

Walkers & Talkers
This group is for 3-year-olds and over. We meet
on Tuesdays 10 to 12. Treat this as a prime opportunity
to meet up with the Mums you have not seen recently due to
the busy school schedule, or for a welcome change of scenery
and company! Siblings (older and younger) are usually welcome
(especially for the outdoor meetings).

This group caters for those who live outside of Abu Dhabi City Centre, primarily in Khalifa City, Mangrove Village, SeaShore Villas, Al Raha, Sas Al Nakheel, Between Two Bridges, Officers City or surrounding areas. We run the following OTIG groups:

Book & Video Library
An extensive library of books, videos, DVD's and CD-roms are
available to members to check out for a one-month period.
Borrow up to 4 books and 4 videos/DVD's/CD ROMs. We have over
180 videos covering a wide selection ranging from The Wiggles
to Teletubbies to recent movies aimed at both kids and parents
such as Ice Age and Monsters Inc. It is a great way to find
out the videos your children prefer, without spending a fortune
on videos that won't get watched. Our Book library contains
nearly 250 books that are suitable for babies to children
up to six years old. We also have a small selection of books
for mums to provide them with ideas on how to keep kids entertained.
There is a refundable deposit and late fee for items not returned
on time.

Toy Library
Why spend a fortune on expensive toys which may only hold
your child's attention for a short time? Hire on a monthly
basis from the Toy Library for a fraction of the cost. If
you find your child cannot live without the toy, you know
it will be worthwhile purchasing it! Otherwise, exchange
the toy for something else to keep your little angels entertained.

Baby Gear
If you have visitors in town, we can lend you travel cots,
buggies (strollers), highchairs, playpens and car seats. Items
are usually hired for a few weeks, and there is a AED250 deposit
due. This service is available to non-AD Mums members as well.

Maternity Gear
You're blooming yet your options for maternity wear are not.
ADM has a range of used however very clean and good quality
maternity wear to suit all sizes and tastes for loan by members.
So there is no need to spend 100's of Dhs, check out ADM Maternity
Gear first. In addition, donation of maternity clothes to
this group is always much appreciated. |

 Breast
Pump Rental
The Medela Lactina
breast pump is available to all our mums who need to express
breastmilk for one reason or another, be it to build up and
maintain milk supply in the event of breastfeeding problems,
or to simply have breast milk available for your baby when
you are away, or going back to work. The Medela Lactina pump
is ideal for frequent pumping, it is easy to use, and provides
breastfeeding mums with a safe and efficient way of expressing
their milk.
The pump can be used for single or
double pumping with a Medela breast pump accessory kit,
which needs to be purchased by each individual user. The
Lactina breast pump is available for a small rental charge
and a refundable deposit.

Bouncy Castle
Bouncy Castle under 6's is run every Tuesday. It is held
at ZSC from 3.30pm till 5.30pm. In cooler weather it
is held outdoors and in the play room during the hotter months. There is one or two bouncy
castles, toys, cars etc.

Daytime Outings
A fun way to get together and do something different. Outdoor
activities are open to all age groups and consist of a wide
selection of outings, ranging from picnics in the park to
beach outings. Outings are scheduled once or twice a month,
cost will vary according to the event.

Gym Club
Want to get your children moving and burning up some of that
energy, then come along to Gym Club. The age range is 24
- 36 months. Your children will learn a variety of skills
using various apparatus from balancing bean bags to balancing
on a beam; correctly performing forward rolls to star jumps;
using balls, trampolines, hoops and even a parachute; working
individually, in pairs and as part of a team, all done in
a safe and encouraging environment.
Come and join in the
fun but Mums (and Dads) don’t expect to sit down! This
is a totally hands on parental activity and requires
your full participation and encouragement.

Mix & Match: Wednesdays & Sundays
These mix and match sessions are open to all children under 6. Especially useful for those of us with more than one child, expect lots of fun for the little ones - indoors when it's just too hot or outdoors when the weather obliges. Teas and coffees availble for parents, and fruit and snacks for the little ones.

Educational
Night Out (ENO)
A monthly evening out
for the purpose of fun, culture and learning. ENO enlightens,
refreshes and enthrals with an impressive array of activities
especially designed to capture interest and entertain.
Workshops have included: demonstrations from the Kaya Skin
Clinic, Quilting Exhibition and talks about Oriental Carpets and
Child Behaviour.

Rhythm & Song
Singing songs and exposing your child to rhythm are wonderful
ways to help your children's development and ability in a
variety of ways. They can practice numbers, colors, the names
of things, rhyming, melodies, taking turns and playing instruments.

Every 2nd Tuesday in the month existing members gather
to catch up with each other. It is also the opportunity
for Mums to join ADM. Several enterprising Mums also offer
goods or services and there are a number of stalls selling
for example children's books, stationery, embroidered goods
or organic products.

Abu Dhabi Mums starts new groups as the need arises or as members
bring ideas for new groups to them. Mix & Match, Gym Club
